Another fine program for older children that teaches
synonyms and antonyms in eight lessons. The program presents a list of
words of either like or opposite meaning and then tests the child in the
correct use of these words by presenting sentences with highlighted
words that the child must find the correct synonym or antonym for. Only
a couple of files on the disk, VOCAB and VOCAB2 but they are quite
comprehensive and this well presented program will certainly help
children of around 8 years of age and older begin to widen their
vocabulary and better understand the use of alternative words.
