Several readers had problems with FREEWAY ACE from
issue 16. The listing is correct as printed but the program will not
run if TYPO II has been used to check it. The solution Is simply to
LIST the program to disk or cassette using LIST "C:" or LIST
"D:FREEWAY.LST", switch off the machine and then re-enter
using ENTER "C:" or ENTER "D:FREEWAY.LST". This
version, which will run perfectly, should then be saved in the usual
way.
The problem Is that PLAY$ must be the first string
dimensioned in view of the way the Player Missile Graphics are set up
and the strings already used by TYPO prevent this.
